American Hungarian Federation

The American Hungarian Federation is a national non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Hungarian-American community and advancing the interests of people of Hungarian descent across the United States. Based in Washington, DC, the organization operates as a non-partisan, all-volunteer charitable and educational institution with 501(c)(3) status, providing comprehensive support through multiple service areas including community outreach, human rights advocacy, and educational initiatives.

As the largest Hungarian-American umbrella organization in the country, the Federation represents the collective interests of its members and a broad cross-section of the Hungarian-American community. The Federation's charitable programs include partial scholarship opportunities for young Hungarians attending colleges in both the United States and Hungary through established family scholarship programs. Since its founding, the Federation has raised millions of dollars to complete hundreds of projects benefiting the Hungarian-American community and people of Hungarian descent on both sides of the Atlantic.
